For my final blog, I decided to do my project on William Faulkner and the South. I picked William Faulkner because I think that he's interesting and I like his stories. The reason that I chose William Faulkner and the South as my topic was because how prominent Mississippi was in his life. Mississippi was his home, and that influenced him to make it the setting of a big portion of his pieces since that is the lifestyle that he knows. It fit in most of his stories because it made the setting and the time period relevant to the actual events in the story.
